The lamp is still in excellent condition and comes complete with its original box. During the Second World War, every household was required to darken their windows in the evening. This law was instituted because the Allies used the light from the Netherlands to find their way to Germany. A fascinating item for any collection!

De lamp verkeert nog in uitstekende staat en wordt geleverd met de originele doos. Tijdens de Tweede Wereldoorlog moest elk huishouden ’s avonds de ramen verduisteren. Deze wet werd ingevoerd omdat de geallieerden het licht uit Nederland gebruikten om hun weg naar Duitsland te vinden. Een interessant stuk voor elke verzameling!
