Dutch M16B reissued by the German 'Luftschutz
The helmet is still in very good condition and is neatly stamped CM1926. After the surrender in May 1940 this helmet fell into German hands and was reissued by the German 'Luftschutz'. Interestingly, the decal was placed on the back of the helmet. They also did not repaint the helmet blue. A great helmet that would look excellent in a display!

De helm verkeerd nog in een zeer goede staat en is netjes gestempeld met CM1926. Na de overgave in mei 1940 is deze helm in duitse handen gevallen en doorgebruikt door de duitse 'Luftschutz'. Wat wel grappig is is dat het decal aan de achterzijde van de helm is geplaatst. Ook hebben ze de helm niet blauw overgeschilderd. Gave helm die mooi in de vitrine zou passen!
