German Dienstglas 6x30 “Voigtländer & Sohn A.G.”

The binoculars are still in a good used condition. Unfortunately, there are some small dust particles inside the lenses, which is not surprising after all these years. "ddx" indicates production by the company "Voigtländer & Sohn A.G." from Braunschweig. During the war, the Germans used three-letter codes so production locations would not be bombed. Nice piece of history that would look great on a mannequin!

De dienstglas verkeerd nog in een goede gebruikte staat, helaas zitten er wat stofjes in de lenzen zelf. Dat is natuurlijk ook niet zo gek na al die jaren. ddx duidt op een productie van de firma 'Voigtländer & Sohn A.G.' uit Braunschweig. Tijdens de oorlog gebruikte de duitsers drieletterige codes zodat de plekken waar ze werden geproduceerd niet werden gebombardeerd. Leuk stukje geschiedenis die mooi op de pop zou passen!
