German return card for Dutch worker Maastricht 1943

This is an official German document from 1943, the so-called: “Rückkehrschein” (return certificate). It was intended for a Dutch worker who worked in Germany during the Second World War. The document states that the man was ill and was therefore allowed to travel back to the Netherlands. He worked as an assistant laborer in Stuttgart. There is also a stamp from the German border control in Aachen. It can also be seen that the document was approved by a labor office and a health insurance institution. Nice item for in the collection!

Dit is een officieel Duits document uit 1943 de zogenaamde: “Rückkehrschein” (terugkeerbewijs). Het was bedoeld voor een Nederlandse arbeider die in Duitsland werkte tijdens de Tweede Wereldoorlog. Op het document staat dat de man ziek was en daarom terug naar Nederland mocht reizen. Hij werkte als hulparbeider in Stuttgart. Ook staat er een stempel op van de Duitse grenscontrole in Aken. Ook is te zien dat het document is goedgekeurd door een arbeidsbureau en een ziektekosteninstantie. Leuk item voor in de collectie!
