Dutch Royal Netherlands Navy officer's visor cap pre 1940

The cap has an Etat-Major/W-band with the officer's cap insignia attached to it. The cap is made of fine wool. It has a typical 1930s/40s rayon lining, and this type of leather sweatband can also be found in pre-war Dutch field caps. The sweatband insert is made of mica, so not plastic. Unfortunately, the maker's logo is no longer readable. The buttons are slightly staining the leather sweatband. Perfect item to complete a mannequin!

De pet heeft een etat-major/w-band met daarop het officieren pet embleem bevestigd. De pet is gemaakt van lakense fijne wol. Typische jaren 30/40 rayon binnenvoering, dit type lederen zweetband is ook terug te vinden in vooroorlogse Nederlandse veldmutsen. De zweetruit is gemaakt van mica, dus geen plastic. Makers logo is helaas niet meer leesbaar. De knoopjes geven ietwat af op de lederen zweetband. Perfect item om een pop te complementeren!
