Dutch sabre pouch 2nd Hussar Regiment 1880–1900
The sabre pouch served as a bag for documents or personal belongings, as the Hussars' close-fitting uniforms (atila) had no pockets. This example is in exceptionally good condition; the leather is not dried out anywhere and feels like new. The pouch was made around 1880–1900. Finding items like this in such condition is becoming increasingly difficult, a unique opportunity to buy one!

De sabeltas diende als tas voor documenten of persoonlijke spullen, aangezien de strakke uniformen (atila's) van de huzaren geen zakken hadden. Dit exemplaar is in een buitengewoon goede staat, het leder is nergens uitgedroogt en voelt als nieuw aan. De tas is gemaakt rond 1880-1900. Dergelijke items in deze staat vinden wordt steeds lastiger, een unieke kans om er eentje te kunnen kopen!
